#Protest Picknick

500 picnics all over Germany to fight plastic waste.

Sometimes an experience is the best way to change a habit. For WWF Germany I created the strategy and the campaign branding for the action #ProtestPicknick. The picnic was integrated in other campaign actions that are motivating and empowering their supporters to reduce plastic in their lives.

Marketing Material

To support the organizers of Protest Picnics, I designed print products for material packages that could be ordered in advance. The material packages included posters and flyers for advertising the picnics, as well as a brochure with further information for the participants on the day of the picnic.

This campaign was developed to give supporters of the WWF a low barrier entry to get actively involved in disposable plastic in everyday life.


Sign-up and Supporter Journeys

The registration page has been designed so that it corresponds to the WWF branding and achieves the highest possible conversion rate. After the sign-up all participants recieved custom supporter journeys that provided them with all the necessary information about the picnic and the avoidance of disposable plastic.
