Branding for the first digital information week for senior citizens of Berlin
The annual Berlin Seniors Week offers numerous events in all districts of Berlin. In addition to the festive opening event, is is a platform for training opportunities and leisure activities for senior citizens. For the first time, the seniors‘ week has its own branding that was developed as part of the CI of the Berlin Senate Administration.

Accessible design and an iconset for more orientation
Because of the pandemic, the Seniors Week 2020 took place digitally to a large extent. A set of print material was prepared to make sure that the participants were equipped with all information they needed to access the events online. In addition to the print material an icon set helped to mark the different thematic areas.
One focus of this project was also the accessibility of the design to make the visual identity of Berlin’s Seniors Week appropriate for the target group. For this purpose there particular attention was payed to the contrasts of the colors, the readability of fonts and the clarity of the design.
Modular logo for future events
One feature of the new branding of Berlin’s Seniors is the possibility to adapt the design of the brand slightly by changing the gradient color. This way it will be possible to create an unique visual identity for the every year.
